Choices serves Louisiana youth who are experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges. We do this through a process called Wraparound.

Wraparound helps youth and their families build on strengths and find lasting resources within their communities.

About youth we serve

Youth we work with have complex mental or other behavioral health needs. Many are involved with systems such as child welfare and juvenile probation. Our goal is to help youth thrive in healthy, loving, and stable homes.

Choices currently serves youth who:

  • Are 5 through 20 years old
  • Live in Louisiana Regions 3, 6, and 8
  • Have a mental health diagnosis or exhibit high risk behaviors
  • Are eligible for Louisiana Medicaid
  • Meet other assessment criteria

What is Wraparound?

Wraparound is a team-based planning process that places youth and their families at the center.
