Choices Foster Care Solutions is a therapeutic foster care agency serving Indiana. We facilitate the licensing, training and support of foster parents. We also match children to foster families to ensure a stable placement for the child.

What We Offer
In order to achieve safety, stability, and permanency for every child placed in a foster home, Choices provides supportive licensing process that can occur at a pace that is comfortable for the foster home, therapeutic training, individualized support, prompt responses to questions, hassle-free reimbursements every two weeks, and a monthly virtual foster parent support group.

Although there are other agencies in Indiana that help future foster parents become licensed, the process and requirements are uniform across the state. However, the quality of support offered to foster parents is what sets apart one licensing agency from another. Choices is a smaller agency which provides important benefits.

We match your care and dedication with more of the same. Being a foster parent can be hard so we will always be there to walk alongside you and provide you with the support you need to take care of the youth in your home as well as yourself.
- We have more flexibility to provide training that work with your schedule.
- We provide therapy-based education that helps prepare you to care for a youth with emotional and/or behavioral challenges.
- Each of our team members works with a small number of families, allowing them to be responsive and supportive to everyone.
What We Offer
In order to achieve placement stability and permanency (a permanent and safe home) for every child placed in a foster home, Choices provides the following:
- A supportive licensing process that can occur at a pace that is comfortable for the foster home;
- Specialized, therapeutic training developed by national experts to prepare foster parents;
- Individualized support to each foster home and foster child during placement, including in-home visits to discuss successes and needs
- 24/7 Support Hotline with prompt, one-hour responses;
- Twice a month virtual support groups - one at lunch and one in the evening
Our Experience
The Choices Foster Care Solutions staff brings a range of experiences that can benefit foster parents and foster children, including:
- 15+ combined years of direct foster parenting experience
- Child welfare, mental health, and foster care work experiences in both the public and private sectors
- Personal experiences supporting children with special needs
- Expertise and advocacy skills with the Individualized Education Programs (IEP) process and children’s special educational needs.
