Our goal is to prevent unnecessary placement of youth in restrictive care away from their homes. Outcomes are better for children who can stay with their families. Our team connects your family to the resources needed to thrive.
Our Partners
Choices is a community mental health center that is certified to provided services such as Wraparound and Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC).
We work with the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, the Mississippi Wraparound Institute, and Families as Allies.
Choices serves families who:
- Have a child(ren) 21 and under
- Live in Southern Mississippi
- Who are experiencing mental health symptoms and possibly at risk of out-of-home placement
- Engage with multiple systems such as juvenile justice, schools, and/or Child Protection Services
